POLYROBICS, Polynesian Aerobics, is physical exercise combined with Polynesian dance into an aerobic exercise format. The concept is to learn Polynesian dance and movement while getting your body in shape. With POLYROBICS, you will dance and exercise to the exciting sounds of the South Pacific (islands of Samoa, Hawaii, Tahiti, Maori, Tonga, New Zealand to name a few). The creative choreography by Kiki includes full body movement and dance from the islands, incorporating familiar aerobic movement and form. The full workout is for both women and men to learn and enjoy; each session ending with a beautiful Hula dance. In addition to dance and exercise, Polyrobics provides muscle flexibility (stretching), cardiovascular training, abdominal strengthening and best of all, Culture and lots of fun! Mua "Kiki" Sotoa developed Polynesian Aerobics in 2003 as a physical exercise combined with Polynesian dance into an aerobic exercise format. The concept is to learn Polynesian dance and movement while getting your body in shape. Kiki currently offers weekly in the San Diego area and continues to build more interest in this new workout. Her choreography in Polynesian dance is the flare that will dance your body into shape.
